Tia Kolbaba studies early and medieval Christianity, with special emphasis on the Greek-speaking Eastern Church. She is interested in relations between Orthodox and Catholic Christians, as well as relations among various religions in general. Her publications include work on the Crusades, holy war, conversion, and religious polemic.
