Dr. Hyndman is currently a Professor of Cell Biology and Neuroscience. He is the former Dean of Livingston College and Associate Provost, Rutgers University.

Dr. Hyndman served as a trustee at Warren County Community College (Vice Chair for two years) and a member of the New Jersey State Board of Education (President for four years). He serves as a reviewer for the National Institute of Health, National Science Foundation and National Council for Accreditation Teacher Education.
