Michael Alles specializes in a range of issues facing corporations today. His published works focus on corporate governance, the system by which companies are directed and controlled; the design of strategic control systems, which enable a company to assess whether a strategy is being implemented as planned and whether the outcome is as intended; continuous auditing via automated tools; and cost-based decision making.
